【學習目標】
1. 知識目標:掌握下列重點單詞和詞組的意思及用法wonder, band, review, ancient, composition, grade, pyramid, pupil, meeting, listen up, call, event.
2. 能力目標:復習學過的六種時態,能在實際情境中用學過的六種時態造句。
3.情感目標:培養學生對神奇大自然的熱愛,對偉大人類文明的熱愛。
【教學重難點】:
1.重點:一般現在時,一般過去時,現在進行時,過去進行時,一般將來時,現在完成時。
2.難點:以上六種時態的區別及運用。
【教學過程】
2. [課前朗讀]: 朗讀根wonder, band, review, ancient, composition, grade, pyramid, pupil, meeting, listen up, call, event.根據音標讀出單詞并了解漢語意思,養成學生自主學習詞匯的習慣,促使學生迅速進入學習狀態。
[檢查詞匯預習]:
a.采取學生結對、小組互查等形式來檢查學生對詞匯的預習情況。
b.朗讀單詞,注意發音。
一、情境導入
教師可問學生:Hello, everyone. Now look at the picture. What activity is the school going to hold? How do you know it?這樣會調動學生用英語思維的積極性, 引出What is a wonder of the world?導入本課。
二、小聽力(自主完成,合作釋疑)
聽Activity 2, 完成本題聽力。
三、大聽力 多層聽
1. 聽Activity 3,完成Activity4,選擇正確答案。
2. Listen again and check.
四、理解意思
1.小組內合作解決activity 3的意思,找出不懂的地方。
2.小組間合作解決不懂的地方,教師適時點撥。
五、突破重點與難點
對重點內容和疑難問題進行合作探究學習。
1.What’s happening?什么事呀?
sth .+ happen + 地點或時間 某地或某時發生了什么事?
如:An accident happened in that street.

sth .+ happen to +sb. 某人發生了某事(常指不好的事)

2. She started a school magazine called New Standard.
called New Standard是過去分詞短語作后置定語。
如:I made a new friend called Tom.

3. It was too dark to see anything.
too…to…表否定意義,太----而不能----,可以和not---enough to do或so---that---結構進行交換。
如:She is too young to go to school.= She’s not old enough to go to school. = She is so young that she can’t go to school. 她太小而不能上學。

4.Why don’t we start a school magazine, too?本句表示建議對方做某事,它相當于Why not start a school magazine, too? Why don’t+主語+do?= Why not +do?
如:Why don’t you go with us?=Why not go with us?

六、歸納短語
通過對對話的學習,讓學生歸納本課的短語,可以小組合作,然后通過展示呈現出一個小組的成果,然后其他小組補充完善。
