第1-5分鐘導入引入
老師會用一個問題“How would you feel if your home was suddenly destroyed without warning?”引導學生進入聽力材料,讓學生對接下來的聽力訓練的內容有一個心理準備。用問題激發學生的討論,從而激發學生對回答問題及相關知識的聯想。學生通過討論為接下來的聽力任務做好背景知識準備。

第6-21分鐘聽材料聽力
1. Learn the new words about the earthquakes.
2. Listen to the tape to finish Ex.2 and Ex.3.
3. Find out the main idea of the listening material.
進入聽力訓練,本課時的重點之一有了前面一個問題引入,再加上前面學過的READING部分,教師可以直接進入主題。讓學生聽一段錄音之后,學生完成幾個簡單的True or False問題,再聽一遍錄音,再完成幾個細節題,循序漸進,由淺入深,學生可以大概獲取聽力材料的信息。首先提一些簡單的判斷題,讓學生能夠輕易回答,即能夠讓學生獲得成功的喜悅,也可以讓學生對材料有個了解。之后,再進入深一些的問題。

第22-25分鐘展示信息
讓學生把聽到的信息以說的方式展示出來。教師把學生所聽到的材料信息用語句活詞語的方式展示出來學生把自己聽到的內容,加上自己的理解,通過口語方式展示出來。
StepⅤDiscussion
第26分鐘了解任務
了解任務。讓學生了解接下來的任務,就是再聽一遍錄音,獲取相關語言信息,再把這些信息運用在口語活動中,做一些預防地震的建議。
第27-39分鐘任務討論
強化語用意識和交流意識讓學生按照自己的觀點盡情自由的討論通過前面的討論、聽力,已經使學生把握了許多相關的.信息,接下來的任務就是讓他們學會如何運用這些信息以口語的形式表達出來。自己與同伴的討論。
第40分鐘任務完成
修改完善自己的討論向全班同學呈現自己的討論成果。
