今天，我興高采烈地來到學校。可是一進門便知道了一個壞消息，今天要英語考試，這讓我一下子就緊張起來，再加上上一次考試成績也不理想。老師說這張卷子很難，我更對自己沒有了信心。
我邁著沉重的腳步來到座位上。一眨眼的功夫就到下午英語考試的時間了。我心中仿佛有塊石頭懸在半空中。考試開始了，那塊石頭幾乎都到了喉嚨口。而我的背上似乎有塊冰放在上面，使我時不時地打個冷顫，頭上也滴下一兩滴冰涼的汗珠。手上又好像有一只小兔子，腳上好像系著兩塊重重的石頭。不一會兒聽力部分就完成了。接下去，就要做筆試部分了，我又打了幾個冷顫。
我心臟跳動的速度迅速加快，筆尖一動一動的，腳也在不停的抖動。喉嚨口也好像有一個一直咽不下去的東西，時間一分一秒的過去，我卻無動于衷。忽然我的腦海中閃現出爸爸常說的一句話：“失敗不一定每次都失敗，但放棄就一定是失敗。”于是，我做了幾個深呼吸，搓了搓手掌，擦了擦額前的冷汗，捂了捂胸口，平靜了心情。心里暗暗對自己說加油加油。我拿起筆，低下頭，又開始認真做卷子了。做完整張卷子我又認真地檢查了一遍，長噓了一口氣。最后，我得到了一個不錯的成績——95分。
每當回想起這件事，我就會想起父親對我的教誨：不管做什么事都不要放棄。父親的教導將使我受益一生。

時間就像一陣風轉眼兩個月過完了，我的胡姐姐也走了不過她走的時候說過記得好好學習，別每天想著玩。這句話在我的腦海了有了深刻的印象，每當我不想學習的時候我就會想起我的胡姐姐說過的這句話是這句話給了我希望讓我重新振作起來，我喜歡有你這樣的老師做我的姐姐，我會想你的。
